1k Quest Guide

This quest will be split up into two parts. The first part is substantially easier and rewards a Kelvarian Coat, as well as the Mutated Human outfit. The Second part rewards a Kelvarian weapon. You can choose from a wand, melee weapon, or bow. The second part is substantially harder but with a level 2k knight, both parts shouldn't provide too much difficulty.

Requirements:

  • Level 700
  • A knight of at least 1000-1500(Higher is recommended. You will have to go VERY slow with a knight under 2k)
  • A couple druids, and shooters.
  • Teleport spells are HIGHLY recommended. If you are a low level, you can teleport directly there with the command !teleport 1k quest, otherwise you have to clear your way and it may take upwards of 30 minutes. For more on teleport spells refer to the pages Teleport Spells and Donation System

Getting Started:

If you do not have teleport spells. Here is a short video of where to go to begin your Quest.


When you first get to the 1k quest(!teleport 1k quest) there will be 3 zombies to your north. If you are a low level, consider using the strategy shown below which utilizes magic walls so only 1 zombie attacks you at a time.

After killing the 3 Zombies, head north slowly until you reach a house. If the doors are closed, this will be much easier as that means someone most likely hasn't came by and lured everything. There shouldn't be more than 1 Infected Villager in the house, if that. After clearing the house, there will be a few Villagers and 3 Zombies. Have the knight slowly move forward and lure back to the Coal Basin, as shown below, until all the monsters are dead.

NOTE: Although the Villagers have a lot more health, the Zombies hit harder and lower level knights may die to more than one Zombie. Head north slowly and when you get to the 5 way with fences, hug the west side. When you get to the point shown in the picture below, go very slow as this is one of the hardest parts.

From here, you're going to go west of the coal basin. Go very slow hugging the fence as shown in the picture below. Make sure no one goes north or you may lure many creatures.

Once you make your way west, have the Knight stand in the diagonal shown below and lure back to it. Be careful as there will be a Colmillos north which will spam para. Make sure the druid is ALWAYS in range to sio the Knight, as it will be very hard for the knight to move once the Colmillos starts paralyzing them.

NOTE: If someone had previously opened the door to the house right north of the Diagonal, the quest will become VERY hard to do any you may want to consider waiting until the next server save when the door is closed.
After clearing the Colmillos, head northwest a little and lure back to the second diagonal as shown below. There may be another Colmillos, or the first one may have respawned, so be very careful going north.

Continue North. Then, head to the next diagonal shown below. There may be an Infected Villager that comes before this diagonal. If this happens, make sure to not run around and lure more monsters.

You're in the home stretch. Just head north a little and kill the last few Zombies and Infected Villagers as shown below.

Then simply walk north through the swamp and west into the mountain to receive your reward.

After grabbing your reward, head south and up the stairs to get ready for part 2!. The stairs let you out in the spot shown below.
NOTE: It may be good to leave someone here at all times to block the respawn so your team doesn't go up the stairs and die.

Quest Start

At this point to begin the 2nd part of the quest make your way East and into the house!'
PRO TIP: Tread carefully!

At this point you must defend off the Maniacal Axewielder and the Colmillos. The best guide here is to trap inside the door with Druids healing the Knight, and Tera Walling off the outside.

Once completely inside the house head North and go up the ladder. Nothing is at the top of the ladder.
PRO TIP: Do not step off the building once at the top unless you are ready!

At this point drop off the building. Be prepared to face Colmillos, Infected Villagers, and a few Iluminados Zealot.

PRO TIP: Beware, you are close to the BOSS!

The Boss stage is easy if you have a good Knight and Druid combination. The object is to trap the boss above this ladder.

The easiest way to do this is to have the Druid go up the ladder, and rope the trap door when the Verdugo is directly underneath it. The Knights job is to res the Verdugo, and get it under the Trap Door.

Once the boss is trapped make your way to the North East side of the building and go up the stairs!.
