Fishing System
Collapser has a unique fishing system that draws players in and keeps them hooked to our experience.
Fishing in Collapser is a skill that takes a very long time to get to a meaningful level. It will take you five (5) days of consecutive fishing to reach Fishing Level 100, which is where Collapser's Fishing System begins.

Commendation System and Bundles
Fishing Commendations are a form of Collapser currency used to buy items from The Fishing Guild. This currency is not transferable to other players and is character specific.
In Water, commendations are earned via blue surprise bundles. Enraged Water Spirits turn into these when they die, and if you open the bodies of non-boss monsters (Hydros, Tyria and Doctor Octagonapus), they can be found in them as well.
In Lava, commendations are earned via red surprise bundles. Molten Magma Minions turn into these when they die.
Regardless of if you're fishing in water or lava, bundles will drop one of five potential rewards. Because lava bundles are harder to come by, their percentages on better loot are higher.
Reward | Loot Chance |
---|---|
Platinum Coins | Common |
Crystal Coins | Semi-Common |
1-2 Demonic Essence | Semi-Rare |
1 Iridium Coin | Semi-Rare |
Weak Fishing Scroll/Fishing Commendation | Very Rare (1% chance) |
The Fishing Guild
A lot of Collapser's fishing systems run through the Fishing Guild.
The Fishing Guild is a place off the Islands of Collapser with special non-pvp fishing zones accessible only if you have a certain fishing level, and also home to Wilfred, the Leader of the Fishing Guild.
To get to the Fishing Guild, you simply need to walk south of Collapser Town's Depot and walk through the turtle in the water.
Below is a table of what you can use your Fishing Commendation currency to buy from Wilfred.

Some notes when it comes to the last fishing update:
- Engorged Magmaworm has the same difficulty than Nessie, but gives 42 billion exp instead of 35 billion.
- Pyria is the first of the stronger bosses to catch at level 140. It gives less exp compared to a Blastoise, but the catch rate is only 5% harder than a Krakatoa.
- Hephaestus has been adjusted to have the same difficulty than a Sobek. It gives 110 billion exp instead of 100 that Sobek gives.
- Lavos is 5% harder to catch than Blastoise, however it gives 140 billion exp instead of 120 that Blastoise gives.
- Volcanis is 5% harder to catch than Leviathan, however it gives 312 billion epx instead of 280 that Leviathan gives.
- Sobek is slightly easier to catch than before. The chance of catching one is 5% easier than before.
- Calypso has been recorrelated against Sobek after it's difficulty change. She is 5% harder than Sobek but gives 130 billion exp instead of 100.
Latest patch applied to fishing (v1.20). Here's some detailed info on a few changes:
- Removed fire debuff from krabby / kingler.
- Changed Jaws Health from 140 million to 120 million.
- Changed Nessie healing from 350k-350k to 250-275k.
- Changed Aekre healing from 350k-350k to 250-275k.
- Lowered Krabby / Tyria / Kingler invisibility chance.
- Lowered Krabby / Tyria HP from 4 to 3 million.
- Increased Lady Ashzara's higher combo consistency as well as tuned up her damge by a bit. Increased the chance to teleport a bit.
- Fixed a bug that caused a Lady Ashzara's spell not to hit as the range of specified spell was lower than the default "targetdistance" parameter.
- Increased Kraken spells damage incosistency before the rage phase. Increased Dice drop rate from 18% to 28%. Increased Key Ring drop rate from 20% to 28%.
- Changed Calypso's main attack range from 8 to 3. Changed her base HP from 180 million to 140 million.
- Changed Leviathan's exp from 280 billion to 415 billion. It's 35 billion less than Lady Ashzara. This monster focuses more on exp / dmg than loot (it doesn't drop the bag with scrolls and other items).
- Increased Leviathan's level limit from 40 to 70 as well.
- Changed Hephaestus healing from 220 million to 160 million. 20 more million than Sobek. Changed it's healing type as well to a higher interval / higher healing values (kinda same as sobek).
- Changed Hephaestus target distance from 1 to 7.
- Changed Volcanis exp from 312 billion to 240 billion. In the latest patch it was correlated against Leviathan but we want Volcanis to be more dynamic.
- Changed the healing to be 375k-450k. Changed it's health from 180 million to 220 milion total.
- Changed Pyrias healing from 350k-500k to 300k-350k.

Fishing Difficulty
At the bottom of your !fishing window, you'll see your current fishing difficulty. Fishing difficulty is factored in by three things:
1. Your actual fishing skill.
2. Your tool of choice (fishing rod or fishing spear).
3. Whether you're currently using a fishing scroll.
As each one of these factors changes, your fishing difficulty will decrease, thus increasing your chance to catch a monster. This is a good thing, and is very important. Lets explain.
Every monster in Collapser's fishing arsenal has it's own catch percentage or catch rate per cast. We won't bore you with the boring details, but we feel it's important to be open with you, our players.
The lower your fishing difficulty is, the higher your chance to catch monsters. Your fishing fishing difficulty will be multiplied by each monsters individual base chance.
Auto Bowl System Usage
• You must keep un-used bowls in your inventory for them to be used by the auto bowl system
• Auto bowled creatures will be sent to your Depot! They will NOT be in your bags!
• All monsters come disabled by default, you must enable them using the following commands:
!autobowl This command will show you the current configuration of the auto bowl system.
!autobowl help This command will show you some example command usage for the auto bowl system (how to enable / disable all monsters and specific monsters)
!autobowl enable all This command will enable the auto bowl system for all monsters.
!autobowl disable all This command will disable the auto bowl system for all monsters.
